Welcome aboard as we make our way eastward. Our travels take us through Illinois, Indiana and on into Ohio for our first overnight stop in Maumee, Ohio.

Day 2 – Tuesday – May 26, 2026 - Donegal, PA

After breakfast this morning we continue traveling east into the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. We arrive in the Laurel Highlands area where we’ll visit Frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater—one of the greatest architectural triumphs of the 20th century.  Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin, on June 8, 1867.

Day 3-  Wednesday -  May 27, 2026 - Gettysburg

Following breakfast our destination for today is the historic town of Gettysburg where our first stop will be at the Visitor Center. Here we’ll learn about the causes of the Civil War, as well as the role the Battle of Gettysburg played in the broader conflict. We have made a reservation to view the Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama. French artist Paul Philippoteaux spent months on the battlefield researching the battle and interviewing soldiers before setting brush to paint. He then spent a year painting this beautiful piece of art, which is longer than a football field and taller than a four-story building. Of course, the biggest attraction in Gettysburg are the battlefields.

A local guide will join us for a comprehensive tour throughout the battlefield area including stops at Little Round Top, Devil’s Den, the Wheatfield and of course, the Gettysburg National Cemetery where President Lincoln delivered his immortal Gettysburg Address. Our overnight stay is here in Gettysburg. (Breakfast)

Breakfast is included again this morning, but before we head into the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch region, we’ll take the time to visit the home and farm of the 34th president, Dwight D. Breakfast is included again this morning before a local guide joins us for a complete tour of the Pennsylvania Dutch Region. You’ll step back in time as you travel into the tranquil heart of Pennsylvania Amish Country where the horse and buggy remains the primary form of transportation and windmills dot the landscape. The Pennsylvania Amish of Lancaster County are America’s oldest Amish settlement, and where thousands still live a centuries-old ‘Plain’ lifestyle. Visit an Amish Farm and House to learn about their faith, culture, distinctive dress and way of life that forbids the use of electricity or telephones in their home. This evening we’ll enjoy a wonderful meal and great entertainment. Overnight in Lancaster, PA. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 –Saturday – May 30, 2026 - Philadelphia

After an included breakfast we head to the City of Brotherly Love. Day 7 – Sunday – May 31, 2026 – Hershey, PA

It isn’t a real visit to Hershey without a stop at Hershey’s Chocolate World.  We’ll start with a relaxing 60-minute guided tour around Hershey. You’ll see Milton S. Hershey’s childhood home and the original Hershey’s chocolate factory. You’ll learn the fascinating story about the man behind the chocolate and the chocolate empire he created as well as the creation of the community for the workers at the chocolate factory over 100 years ago. Overnight is in Hershey. (Breakfast)

Day 8 – Monday – June 1, 2026 - Ceveland, OH

Breakfast is included before we head over the mountains and thru the tunnels as we continue our journey westward. Before we leave, we’ll visit Pennsylvania’s State Capital known as the “Palace of Art." It is considered to be the most ornate capitol in the United States. The 272-foot-tall dome weighs 52 million pounds and was inspired by Michelangelo’s design for St Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Your overnight stay will be in Cleveland at the Drury Plaza Hotel. (Breakfast)
